Technician or Diesel Mechanic

About the role

We are seeking a full-time diesel technician or mechanic with at least three years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of heavy-duty truck systems, diesel engines, and after-treatment devices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues with heavy-duty trucks
• Perform routine maintenance checks
• Work closely with Freightliner for on-the-job factory training
• Contribute to improving our business through suggestions
• Participate in a monthly incentive program for techs

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in heavy-duty truck mechanics/diesel technicians
• Strong understanding of heavy-duty truck systems and diesel engines
• Experience with after-treatment devices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of safety protocols

Skills

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

Pay ranges from $25-$50 per hour based on experience.
