Technician Multi-Imaging

About the role

Performs routine exams in either an inpatient and/or outpatient setting, adhering to established protocols for positioning, image quality, and radiation safety. May also include assignments to specialty areas requiring a radiologic technologist, such as the Emergency Department (ED), Operating Room (OR), or Fluoroscopy.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes a variety of specialized equipment to produce radiographic and fluoroscopic images, including scanners, power injectors, computers, and various software programs to enter patient-related information into hospital databases.
• Contributes to the department's excellence through commitment to personal excellence in technical and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT registration (American Registry of Radiology Technologists) or RDMS registration (Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or CCI certificate (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) in each appropriate work-related modality within twelve months of hire.
• State of New Jersey licensure in Radiology technology as appropriate.

• Requires the analytical ability to resolve problems using basic specific, mathematical, or technical principles.
• Requires the ability to explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families.

Pay

Salary range provided to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc.
