About the role
Performs routine exams in either an inpatient and/or outpatient setting, adhering to established protocols for positioning, image quality, and radiation safety. May also include assignments to specialty areas requiring a radiologic technologist, such as the Emergency Department (ED), Operating Room (OR), or Fluoroscopy.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes a variety of specialized equipment to produce radiographic and fluoroscopic images, including scanners, power injectors, computers, and various software programs to enter patient-related information into hospital databases.
- Contributes to the department's excellence through commitment to personal excellence in technical and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- ARRT registration (American Registry of Radiology Technologists) or RDMS registration (Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or CCI certificate (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) in each appropriate work-related modality within twelve months of hire.
- State of New Jersey licensure in Radiology technology as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Requires the analytical ability to resolve problems using basic specific, mathematical, or technical principles.
- Requires the ability to explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families.

- Technical proficiency with imaging equipment.

Pay
Salary range provided to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc.
