Responsibilities

  • Compare readings of measuring devices to established standards and adjust them to achieve proper output.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production instruments when necessary.
  • Manage and maintain the documentation of all calibrations and investigations for potential calibrations.
  • Absorb and analyze data obtained from the calibration process and prepare calibration reports accurately.
  • Adapt calibration equipment for new or unusual measurement tasks.
  • Correct any measurement errors as soon as they have been identified.
  • Aid colleagues in calibration procedures and maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the production equipment instrumentation.
  • Advise non-related departments on technical matters.
  • Able to lift and maneuver 25 kg weights.
  • Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of algebra to solve measurement-related issues and decide how to address measurement errors
  • Basic electronics and basic computer skills (Word and Excel) are essential in this occupation

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $23.20-$38.65. The compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, work location, prior experience and job-related knowledge, relevant skills and expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The Talent Acquisition team can provide more details about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
