Technician - Level 1

About the Role

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment, ensuring minimal downtime. Our fleet includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and specialty equipment like large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas-related machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment
• Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment types
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment preferred
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and work in various physical positions (bending, squatting, crouching, reaching)
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs
• May need to provide tools of trade

Qualifications

Pay

Base Pay Range: $20.89 - $28.72. Starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience.

Schedule

Paid time off includes: 12-25 vacation days (depending on years of service), 5 sick days, 6 holidays, 2 half-day holidays, 2 floating holidays, 1 inclusion day, and 1 volunteer day.
