Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Run routine and special samples to determine product specifications for process and finished goods.
- Ensure raw materials, process samples, and finished goods meet all specified requirements in Process Units and customers.
- Participate in ME projects and implementations of ME tools for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: 2 years experience in chemical science lab at a chemical manufacturing plant.
- Education Requirements: Associate Degree with emphasis on science.
- Must be able to work the following rotation: Bench Time Week Days, Liquids Bench 5:00 am- 1:00 pm 1 M-F, BPA 6:00 am – 2:30 pm 2 M-F, Solids 6:00 am – 2:30 pm 3 M-F, Weekend/Long change M-W (off), Weekend (Thu-Fri) 6:00 am - 2:30 pm 4 Thu – Fri Weekend (Sat – Sun) 7:00 am – 7:00 pm 4 Sat- Sun, Evening (M-F) 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm 5 M– F.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing environment; familiarity with LIMS, SAP systems is a plus.
