Technician - ISC-Mfg - Level 2
About the role
In this role, you will impact the operational efficiency and reliability of manufacturing processes, contributing to the overall success of the supply chain and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products to customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly work using basic hand tools including screwdrivers, torque wrenches, Allen wrenches and orbital sanders.
- Mixing of epoxies and adhesives to perform bonding and cosmetics operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Assist in implementing process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
Requirements
You must have:
- Proven experience in manufacturing or technical support roles within a supply chain or production environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to effectively maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control procedures relevant to ISC manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with using diagnostic tools and equipment for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and work instructions.
We value:
- Associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field such as manufacturing technology, industrial maintenance, or electronics.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance roles.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
