Technician, Industrial Services/Lead & Asbestos Abatement
Job Summary
As a hazardous materials removal worker at our organization, you will play a crucial role on your demolition and decontamination team. You will work at industrial, commercial, and residential properties to remove asbestos and other dangerous materials. Apply now and join our team!
Key Responsibilities
- Aid with demolition or renovation.
- Remove substances, such as lead and asbestos, from a building using a variety of tools, including high pressure sprayers, vacuums, and scrapers.
- Clean the contaminated area thoroughly to ensure no trace of the substance remains, typically using steam cleaners and filter pumps.
- Clean the equipment after use on a worksite using proper solvents and chemicals.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the site supervisor or other management.
Key Skills Required
- Previous experience working with hazardous materials.
- Knowledge of how to use various power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to travel 3-5 days per week (Monday through Friday).
- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.
- Pre-employment drug and criminal background screening required.
Qualifications
- Training in demolition, construction, and shoring safety preferred.
- Previous demolition or construction experience.
- Industrial truck training.
- Aerial lift and industrial lift training.
Pay & Schedule
Compensation starts at $20/hr based on experience. Overtime opportunities are available.

Schedule
