About the role

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
  • Develops, constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Drafts electrical and pneumatic schematics as required for simple and complex systems.
  • Designs and models components and assemblies in 3D CAD software.
  • Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
  • Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
  • Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with CAD software (PTC Creo), experience with 3D printing and prototyping, some basic knowledge of PLC programming/ladder logic.

Qualifications

  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Physical Job Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile. The employee is also required to interact with a computer, and communicate with peers and co-workers.
