About the role

The Technician III position at School Bus Yard Operations in Shawnee, KS is responsible for maintaining and repairing school buses, ensuring they are safe and operational. This role also involves managing bus inventory, scheduling maintenance tasks, and assisting with yard operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair school buses to ensure safety and functionality
• Manage bus inventory, including ordering parts and supplies
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns
• Aid in yard operations, which may include loading/unloading buses, cleaning, and general yard maintenance

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 2 years of experience in automotive repair or related field
• Knowledge of school bus operation and maintenance procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools

Pay
