About the role

The Technician III performs maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines and associated equipment. This role involves understanding the mechanics—including electrical and hydraulic systems—of all wind turbine components. The position requires replacing mechanical and electrical components, interpreting schematics, and using diagnostic tools. The successful candidate will interpret fault reports, maintain power generation reports and service logs in the computer database, and monitor turbine performance and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular preventative maintenance and repair on wind turbine power generation equipment
• Completes electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting
• Maintains all company-supplied equipment, facilities, and tooling
• Meets attendance requirements
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in a technical field OR completion of a technical certificate/degree program
• Ability to climb wind turbines up to 300 feet
• Post-offer Functional Capacity Evaluation
• Valid Driver’s License (non-CDL)
