Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, service, and troubleshooting activities on variable frequency drives, motors, and related automation equipment.
- Interpret electrical schematics and conduct structured troubleshooting to diagnose equipment issues.
- Replace components, verify and adjust drive parameters, and perform operational testing during commissioning.
- Inspect cooling systems, confirm electrical integrity, validate load conditions, and ensure proper drive and motor operation.
- Perform harmonics analysis and evaluate motor performance to identify potential issues.
- Assist in resolving complex field problems requiring technical judgment and system-level understanding.
- Support equipment installations and collaborate with project personnel to ensure successful project execution.
- Provide guidance and support to junior technicians.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of variable frequency drives, motors, and industrial automation equipment.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
- Ability to verify and adjust drive parameters and perform commissioning activities.
- Understanding of harmonics analysis and motor performance evaluation.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical diagnostic skills.
- Ability to perform standard and moderately complex service tasks independently.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project personnel, customers, and team members.
