About the role
The Technician II, Maintenance position at Goodwill of Colorado is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs, new construction, and troubleshooting on Goodwill owned and controlled facilities. This includes tasks such as light bulb/ballast replacement and repair, assisting with multi-phase carpentry, regular filter changes and basic maintenance of HVAC systems, and trouble shooting various building systems.
Responsibilities
- Light bulb/ballast replacement and repair.
- Aid with multi-phase carpentry.
- Aid with electrical/electronic work as required.
- Painting as required.
- Regular filter changes and basic maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance as required.
- Collect and deliver parts and tools to work areas.
- Clean up job site/work area(s).
- Troubleshooting various building systems.
- Maintain vehicle stock and tools.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- 1-2 years knowledge/experience of industrial maintenance.
- Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot various building systems.
- Utilize smart phone apps and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Use a variety of hand tools and maintenance equipment.
- Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Communicate effectively with customers, management staff, and peers.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Work with persons with disabilities.
- Strong work ethic, self-starter, problem-solver, and team player.
- Understand and follow all Goodwill safety standards and guidelines.
- Must have a valid Colorado State driver license.
- Must be at least 19 years old for company business.
