Technician II -Logistics

Job Summary

The Technician II - Logistics will provide shipping, receiving and inventory maintenance support.

Responsibilities

• Properly package, label and tag warehouse inventory.
• Complete and log daily activities including receiving, shipping, stocking, tooling, auditing, issuing all materials and completing special assignments.
• Conduct cycle-counts of inventory and manage daily log.
• Enter material into IES Inventory database.
• Load and unload goods and supplies and ensure proper handling of the same.
• Maintain warehouse quality by keeping track of all damaged inventory and reporting it in a timely manner.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
• Operate both forklifts and company vehicles.
• Work in accordance with 5S organization and Lean principles.
• Efficiently carry out all task assignments.

Qualifications

• Regular attendance is mandatory.
• Entry level knowledge of operating warehouse machinery and equipment.
• Self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and help create, develop and implement project process improvement(s).
• Promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.
• Familiarity with cycle-counting, order picking, shipping, receiving and operating a forklift (preferred).
• Able to work at heights, off of a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Meet Company minimum driving standards.
• High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
• Basic understanding of operating systems (SAP, Spectrum).
• Intermediate skill level using Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Able to use power tools.
• Physical agility to conduct warehouse inventory.
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean environments a plus.

Pay

Min USD $25.00/Hr. Max USD $29.00/Hr.
