Technician II - Commercial and Regulated Products
About the role
The Technician ll is responsible for formulating custom oligonucleotides according to the customer’s order using various techniques. This position reports to the Formulations Supervisor and is part of the Commercial and Regulated Products Value Stream located in Coralville, IA, and will be an on-site role.
Responsibilities
- Follows custom instructions outlined by Oligo Master Records or Manager Approved Process Flows
- Keeps thorough records of specialized processes in the oligo process history
- Organizes and handles customer owned materials as well as non-standard reagent formulations
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Some laboratory experience
- Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher (preferred)
- 12 months of lab experience; Life Science work experience preferred
- Extensive computer skills which include knowledge of the internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word (plus)
Skills
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
- Basic understanding of molecular biology concepts

SHIFT: M-Th 9am-8pm
