Technician I, Histology (2nd shift)

Charles River Laboratories · Mattawan, MI · 1 mo ago
OTHR$20/hrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? Actually we have job overview, job description, minimum requirements, about safety assessment, about charles river, benefits. Need to use

for section headings: e.g., About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We must include sections only when posting has real specific content. We have pay rate $20/hr, shift hours Monday-Friday 2:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m. So we can have Pay and Schedule sections. We have job overview (maybe "About the role") containing description of role. Responsibilities: from job description (list of duties). Requirements: minimum requirements (education, experience, etc). Qualifications maybe same as requirements? Could combine. Skills: maybe communication, computer skills, etc. Benefits: listed benefits. Pay: $20/hr. Schedule: shift hours. We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID. Remove boilerplate: EEO, accommodation contact, etc. Also remove navigation, legal, duplicated lines. Also remove "For 75 years..." maybe that's about company but could be part of About Charles River? It's generic but we can keep as part of About Charles River? The instruction: preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we should keep the introductory paragraph about 75 years etc? It's about company overview; could be part of About Charles River. But we have separate About Charles River section later. Might combine. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /. Use

headings,
  • for lists,

for prose. We must not create sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". Avoid that. Let's extract content: Intro: "For 75 years, Charles River employees have worked together to assist in the discovery, development and safe manufacture of new drug therapies. When you join our family, you will have a significant impact on the health and well-being of people across the globe. Whether your background is in life sciences, finance, IT, sales or another area, your skills will play an important role in the work we perform. In return, we’ll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about." That's about company and role; could be "About the role" or "About Charles River". We'll put under

    About the role

maybe. Job Overview: "We are seeking an experienced Technician 1 - Histology for our 2nd Shift Pathology Services Team in Mattawan MI. A Technician 1 – Histology is in training to perform and become proficient in on-boarding skills, procedures, and cooperating in a team environment. The technician is learning basic skills required to conduct a study, which may include handling tissues and organs, trimming tissues, embedding, measuring organ weights; microtomy, slide preparation, staining; inventory and quality control, and shipping of tissues. The technician is working under close supervision to gain proficiency." That's also role description. Job Description: list of duties. Let's list duties from "Performs aspects of tissue processing..." etc. We'll create
    • for each duty. Minimum Requirements: Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Ability to manage multiple tasks..., Computer skills..., Must be authorized to work in the United States without a sponsor visa. We can put these as list. Skills: maybe communication, computer skills, etc. But we already have them in requirements. Could separate Skills section for "Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to achieve goals. Computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite), commensurate with essential functions, including the ability to learn a validated system." However "commensurate with essential functions" is filler? It's part of description but maybe okay. We'll keep. Benefits: "We’re committed to providing benefits that elevate your quality of life. Based on your position these may include: bonus/incentives based on performance, 401K, paid time off, stock purchase program, Health and wellness coverage, employee and family wellbeing support programs, and work life balance flexibility." Pay: "$20/hr" Schedule: "Shift hours: Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m." We also have About Safety Assessment and About Charles River sections. Those are substantive. Could be separate sections: About Safety Assessment, About Charles River. Use

for those. We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID. We must discard EEO, accommodation contact, legal, etc. Also discard duplicated lines: maybe some repeated sentences. Now construct HTML. We'll start with

      About the role

containing the introductory paragraph and job overview maybe combined. Better: separate sections: About the role (intro), Responsibilities (job description list), Requirements (minimum requirements), Skills (communication, computer, etc), Benefits, Pay, Schedule, About Safety Assessment, About Charles River. Check if any content missing: The job overview also includes location (Mattawan MI) and shift (2nd Shift). Could be included in About the role or Schedule. We'll include location in About the role. Now produce HTML. Make sure to use

      for prose,

      • for lists. Let's draft.

Check for any boilerplate left: we removed EEO, accommodation contact, legal, etc. Also removed duplicated lines like "Train in on-boarding skills..." which appeared twice; we kept one. We kept "Specific skills will be based on each area’s training plan and business needs." That sentence was in job description; we omitted it because it's vague? It's somewhat generic but maybe considered substantive? It says specific skills will be based on each area’s training plan and business needs. That's not specific detail; could be considered filler. Better to omit. Also we omitted "May prepare and organize written data, printouts, and other documents for pathologist review." we kept. We omitted "Specific skills will be based on each area’s training plan and business needs." Good. Check if any other filler: "Excellent written and verbal communication skills." is fine. Now ensure no markdown fences. Output only
