This position is in Midland, TX. If you live outside the Odessa/Midland area, you must be willing to relocate. This role is ideal for individuals coming from organizations such as Eaton, Siemens, Honeywell, Motorola, Benchmark Electronics, Celestica, Jabil, Plexus, Cypress Semiconductor, or similar electronics manufacturing operations.
Position Summary: AST SpaceMobile is seeking detail‑oriented for Technician I (CSAT Integration Electronics) that is responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting, and supporting production of electronic satellite communication assemblies. Technicians perform critical manufacturing processes while following engineering drawings, production work instructions, quality standards, and ESD requirements. Successful candidates demonstrate strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and experience working with electronic components in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform harness dressing, including routing, lacing, shielding, and clamping of cables and harnesses within spacecraft modules.
- Electronic assemblies experience (boxes, heaters, RTDs, connectors) following interface control documents (ICDs) and installation drawings.
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, installation drawings, and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620, NASA-STD-8739.4, and company quality standards.
