Technician I, A&P
Description
The Description Technician I, A/P is responsible for performing intermediate/heavy maintenance tasks without supervision.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Perform flight control and engine throttle rigging.
- Able to use FAA approved data (i.e. IPC, AMM, OHM, SRM) proficiently.
- Ensure work performed adheres to high quality standards.
- Effectively direct the work of less experienced mechanics.
- All other duties as assigned.
What You Need To Be Successful In This Role
- This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual admitted as a refugee or granted asylum).
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- An FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required.
- A minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training required.
- Fluent in English (speech, reading, writing) required.
