Responsibilities
- Maintain organized work area and promote a safe working environment within the Maintenance department
- Complete work orders, records, logs, and other documentation according to established procedures
- Communicate technical issues effectively to associates, leadership, and suppliers to minimize equipment downtime
- Operate material handling equipment, battery-powered equipment, and other powered machinery safely
- Diagnose electrical problems using technical drawings (blueprints, schematics) and diagnostic tools (multi-meter, laptop)
- Initiate and implement new procedures or designs to maintain equipment efficiency
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, logic controls, PLCs, motor drives (Servo and VFD), and external I/O devices
- Assist other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment
Requirements
- Coursework or certification in electronic technology and 2 years industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology
- OR 3 years industrial maintenance experience in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment)
- PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience
- Hands-on industrial electrical experience, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systems
- Advanced troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial control devices/networking
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to business leadership
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in electronic technology with 2 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience
- Experience maintaining automated equipment in a distribution center environment

Pay
$25.50 per hour starting pay, with a $1.00 increase after 6 months, and annual increases up to a top rate of $34.00 per hour within 3 years. Shift Differential: This shift includes a $1.50 per hour shift premium.

Weekend night shift Thurs, Fri, Sat. 6:00 pm to 630am
