Technician - Hybrid, Temporary

About the role

The Technician (Hybrid, Temporary) position offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects for agribusiness and industrial clients. You will be part of the General Arrangement and Structural teams, working closely with designers and engineers to prepare and draft support for projects from concept phase through construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Work with designers and engineers to provide drawing preparation and drafting support for a variety of projects.
• Set up plans, sections, and details to specified CAD standards under the direction of others.
• Identify redlines on drawings created by others and accurately make required changes.
• Enhance design skills to support the advancement of technical expertise.
• Cook up some fun: participate in chili cookoffs and homebrew tastings.
• Take advantage of charitable PTO to volunteer for organizations you care about.

Requirements

• Certificate in construction-related design/drafting or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of directly related experience.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay

$22.00 - $29.00 per hour.

Schedule

This is a 6-month temporary position with the potential to convert to a full-time permanent role.
