TECHNICIAN, FLOOR (FULL TIME)

Location: St. Peter's Health, 2475 E Broadway St, Helena, MT 59601.

About the Role

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures such as stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment to clean large floor areas.
• Apply proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of up to 50 lb.

Pay

$15.00 per hour to $17.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑time; shifts may vary Monday‑Friday with weekend availability for a rotating schedule.
