Technician - Field
Job Description
Pickup and delivery of well site accommodations and rental equipment.
Rigging up and down well site surface rental equipment and housing quarters.
Breakdown, loading, and resetting rig site equipment during rig movements.
Retrieve equipment from job sites that have ceased renting.
Install semi-permanent water and sewer systems.
Respond to all service calls.
Communicate and work professionally with co-workers and rig site personnel.
Participate in job safety meetings before starting tasks or projects.
Maintain personal truck logs and vehicle inspection reports.
Perform preventative maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment.
Work in structured work crews and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Requirements
- Knowledge of general carpentry, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Customer service orientation.
- Generator experience is a plus.
- Goal-oriented and driven to achieve results.
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Willingness to learn and apply various introductory carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills.
- General labor or construction background is beneficial.
- Willingness to be on call for weekends, holidays, nights, and overtime as needed.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Physical Demands and Exposures
- Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions, including rain, extreme cold, and heat.
- Near moving mechanical parts.
- Exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet, and/or humid conditions.
- Vibration and dust exposure.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Individual lifting capacity: maximum 50 lbs.
Compensation Information
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
