Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet and telephone based on guidelines
• Install, setup, and configure all equipment
• Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Review all requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/after-hours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have authorization to work in the United States for this company
• Hold a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Have a valid State driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Have physical abilities to work at heights, enter attics and crawl spaces, and work alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance

Qualifications

• Physical Abilities & Exposures: Routinely work at heights, occasionally use ladder, keyboard and mouse

• Fiber optic installation and maintenance
• Customer service and communication skills
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
