Position Summary
Performs routine preventive maintenance on food equipment, facilities, and fixtures by following established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines. Inspects, cleans, and repairs equipment and fixtures. Observes and documents signs of wear and tear. Determines replacement needs to reduce ongoing and future repairs. Performs major and minor repairs on food equipment, facilities, and fixtures using multiple craft skills. Responds to emergency calls. Documents repair activities. Operates, inspects, and maneuvers heavy machinery and powered equipment in accordance with training, certification requirements, and safety procedures. Maintains company vehicles in accordance with company policies and procedures. Coordinates and transports vehicles for required maintenance, ensuring beforehand that alternate driving support is arranged. Safely operates motor vehicles and ensures that the vehicle has all required documents. Checks fuel and water levels, brake condition, signals, and lights. Submits maintenance invoices for payment. Verifies the coverage and validity of vehicle insurance.

- Uses hand tools, power tools, hoists, and other equipment.
- Responds to emergency calls.
- Documents repair activities.
- Manages work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors by completing required written and electronic information.
- Conducts price comparison of parts and travel-related costs.
- Orders parts and replacement equipment.
- Tracks orders.
- Records purchases and usage.
- Submits costs.
- Operates, inspects, and maneuvers heavy machinery and powered equipment in accordance with training, certification requirements, and safety procedures.
- Maintains company vehicles in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Captures and maintains records of vehicle maintenance and safety inspections.
- Coordinates and transports vehicles for required maintenance, ensuring beforehand that alternate driving support is arranged.
- Safely operates motor vehicles and ensures that the vehicle has all required documents.
- Checks fuel and water levels, brake condition, signals, and lights.
- Submits maintenance invoices for payment.
- Verifies the coverage and validity of vehicle insurance.
- Wears company uniform and badge in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Participates in an on-call rotation to support business critical needs outside of standard business hours.
- During assigned on-call periods, responds in a timely manner to incidents or requests and supports issue resolution or appropriate escalation as needed.
