Job Description

Job Summary/Objective

  • Install, calibrate, and repair automated machinery, control panels, and field devices (sensors, motors, photo eyes).
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Drives, and 480V 3-phase systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and updates to wiring diagrams and system documentation.
  • Utilize CMMS system, SAP.
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety regulations and electrical codes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree or technical training, certification a plus.
  • Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting skills.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma.
  • Years of Experience: 1-3.
  • Field of Expertise: Electrical Controls.
  • Preferred:
    • Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma.
    • Specialized Degree: Associates or Technical School.
    • Years of Experience: 3+.

Other Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of AC / DC electrical circuits, pneumatics, hydraulics, and motors.
  • Knowledge of Siemens and Allen Bradley.
  • Ability to edit, change or program PLC’s and drives.

Physical Requirements

  • Carrying/Lifting up to 50 lbs: 20%.
  • Climbing: 5%.
  • Crawling: 10%.
  • Standing: 15%.
  • Walking: 20%.
  • Pushing/Pulling 50lbs or greater: 15%.
