JOB SUMMARY
Works under the supervision of the Materials Manager. Inventories, inputs data into Materials Management System, and fills medical supply carts for hospital units on a daily basis. Fills specialty carts and trays based on daily work assignment. Collects patient charges and distributes equipment as assigned on a daily basis. Supports all departments and procedural areas with requests that fall under the materials management umbrella.
Supports the department by performing additional tasks as requested. Must be passionate in providing excellent customer service and patient experience outcomes.
Supply and equipment terminology preferred.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Central Distribution \ Mailroom experience preferred.
- BCLS Card (AHA) within 30 days of hire.
