About the role
- May coordinate the workload within the department and/or act as department lead.
- Maintain, configure for orders, check-in, and repair the Company’s equipment resources in the warehouse.
- Complete the configuration (preparation), repair, and return of equipment in the assigned area of responsibility within the time frame specified by management.
- Accurately scan equipment barcodes and enter quantity count data into TEAM when performing check-out or check-in tasks.
- Ensure the quality of all equipment prepared meets or exceeds Company performance standards.
- Complete Company paperwork as required.
- Re-stock equipment correctly according to depot standards.
- Participate in the loading and unloading of equipment from delivery vehicles.
- Participate in set-up, operation, and break-down of client shows, including corporate events, tradeshows, exhibits, concerts, and theatrical productions.
- Perform all levels of work from level II.
- Perform related work as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in one of the following disciplines: lighting, video, rigging, and/or logistics.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; trade show, technical school, or post-high school training in an appropriate field may substitute for experience.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to self-manage.
- Excellent knowledge of the technical principles of operation and maintenance of assigned electronic equipment.
- Excellent understanding of workplace safety principles and practices.
- Understanding of equipment within the department and how it integrates with the entire show.
- Proven ability to quickly identify and troubleshoot problems.
- Excellent or working knowledge of common computer productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office) and the ability to learn PRG proprietary software.
- Excellent knowledge of safe motor vehicle operation and current licensing appropriate to the vehicle(s) operated (clean driving record required).
- Customer service orientation, tact, and professionalism.
- Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position; must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
