Technician
About the role
This role is a full-time, on-site position based in Fairburn, GA, responsible for the repair and restoration of industrial equipment used in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose equipment issues through inspection, testing, and teardown
- Document findings from disassembly and failure investigations
- Maintain organized work areas and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored
- Follow established SOPs for all repair, inspection, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and efficient workspace in accordance with 5S principles
- Ensure completed work meets internal quality and reliability standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on system performance and potential enhancements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical maintenance, repair, or related fields
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward troubleshooting challenges
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Relevant certifications or training in technical trades or equipment operation (a plus)
