Technician

About the role

Precision Garage Door Service is seeking a Garage Door Technician Apprentice to join a franchise that values customer satisfaction and professional growth. This role involves on-site diagnosis and repair of garage doors and associated equipment, advising customers on repair options and preventive measures, selling services and new equipment using a proven sales model, and managing inventory and equipment in a provided vehicle. While working independently in the field, you will have the support of a team including office staff and fellow technicians.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and technical skills are a plus, but not required
• Ability to independently lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
• Comfortable working in various environmental conditions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Proficiency with computers/tablets and hand tools

Compensation

• Competitive base salary plus commission structure; current technicians earn over $100,000 annually
