About the role

The role is based on flagged hours and requires a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, 5+ years of automotive technician experience, mechanical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices.
- Tear down, repair, replace, and/or rebuild faulty assemblies such as power systems, steering systems, linkages, pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings for all vehicles.
- Rewire ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels and repairs manual and automatic transmissions.
- Adequately explain the technical diagnosis and required repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- 5+ years of automotive technician experience
- Ability to drive and handle various vehicle makes/models, and sizes
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, electrical, engine, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
