Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and pipeline and terminal facilities.
• Perform routine operations and maintenance on equipment at pump stations (tank farms), remote booster stations, pipeline right-of-way (ROW), pipeline facilities, remote valve sites, and delivery terminals.
• Plan, estimate, schedule, and control costs for maintenance projects at pipeline and terminal facilities.
• Perform and record regulatory and company policy preventative maintenance inspections and procedures as outlined in Maintenance and/or Regulatory Manuals and the JDE system.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge relating to new and current technology and equipment.
• Procure and manage the efforts of outside contractors as required.
• Implement company policies, standards, drawings, diagrams, and construction specifications for the installation of new facilities and the repair or upgrade of existing facilities.
• Train Operations personnel and others in the use of new or modified equipment or software.
• Maintain equipment records and provide documentation of work performed per company policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Two-year associate’s degree in a technical field (electrical, electronic, or mechanical) OR equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience in pipeline, terminal, or plant operations and maintenance is required.
• Experience installing or troubleshooting PLCs (B&R, Siemens, Allen Bradley) and truck/rail load rack presets (Accuload, Multiload) is preferred.
• Experience in the measurement of liquids or gas is preferred.
• Must reside within 45 minutes normal driving time of the work location.
• Valid driver’s license.

Skills

• Ability to navigate basic computer systems (e.g., Windows).
• Basic knowledge of SCADA applications and MS Office is a plus.
• Strong communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical skills and technical aptitude.

• Capable of performing the physical labor required to complete the responsibilities of this position, including the use of related tools and work equipment.
