Responsibilities

  • Assemble various critical tolerance hydraulic assembly components while following work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Finish applications such as lockwire, sealant, and paint touch-up.
  • Install identification plates, grease fittings, clamps, and zip ties.
  • Use a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments to monitor and verify drawing/work order requirements.
  • Monitor and verify quality in accordance with manufacturing planning, quality plans, and engineering drawings.
  • Calibrate pressure gauges and transducers per Acceptance Test Procedure requirements.
  • Understand and complete acceptance test procedures with little to no supervision.
  • Ensure part quality by utilizing the correct tooling and standard practices.
  • Meet production deadlines by following manufacturing schedule and procedures.
  • Work with support resources and cell leaders to resolve production problems when they arise.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety policies, contributing to risk mitigation management teams, and keeping all work areas clean.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to team effort.
  • Continuously strive to improve the manufacturing process for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in FOD, 5S, TPM, PM, and Process Improvement programs to enhance departmental effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent required.
  • General mechanical knowledge/background.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on mechanical assembly or 4 years of demonstrated proficiency in a comparable industrial environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic understanding of algebraic concepts.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring devices.
  • Ability to read part drawings/blueprints, including dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Strong common-sense reasoning with the ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics.

Pay

$27.91 - $39.40 per hour. Hiring range and position pay range may differ based on education level, qualifications, and experience.
