Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of low voltage systems
- Learn trade skills through hands on experience and classroom training
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid drivers' license required
- Willingness to enter a state approved Low Voltage apprenticeship program, and complete all associated school coursework
- Security Clearance required
- Basic understanding of construction practices and job site safety
- Basic understanding of low voltage systems as described herein, a plus
- OSHA safety awareness preferred (training will be provided)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in technical/low voltage work
- Ability to follow wiring diagrams and technical instructions to complete installations and repairs
- Ability to communicate effectively with Project Manager, Project Supervisors, and clients
- Willingness to work in various environments (Healthcare, education, Prison/detention centers, etc.)
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely
- Must be able to work off hours if/when projects require it (second and third shift)
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 preferred

$22/hour
