About the role
HII's Mission Technologies division is seeking an experienced Technician to join their team. The role is located in Pocasset, MA, United States.
Responsibilities
- Perform integration, assembly, and test of new systems vehicles and auxiliary equipment from work instructions and assembly drawings
- Perform testing and troubleshooting with engineering and software development in order to identify and correct system level problems with vehicles and auxiliary equipment
- Must be able to read and understand diagnostic data
- Must be able to read and understand Technical schematics
- Must be able to setup and use test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other input/output electronic test equipment
- Must be familiar with general computer operation
- Must be able to perform basic soldering
- Performs diversified duties to troubleshoot PWBA's, Assemblies and Modules
- Troubleshoot complex Analog and Digital circuits to the component level
- Make recommendations to improve current procedures and assist Manufacturing Engineering in implementing new procedures
- Work within limits of prescribed procedures to produce a sufficient quantity of working PWBA's, Assemblies or Modules to support the Master Production Schedule
- Discuss technical problems encountered while troubleshooting or testing with Engineering
Requirements
- Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 6 years related experience
- or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years related experience
Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance
- Bonus points for:
- J-STD soldering certification, or ability to obtain
- IPC 610 certification for the Acceptability of Electronic assemblies, or ability to obtain
- IPC 620 certification for Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies, or ability to obtain
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
- Mechanic experience
- Electrical testing and diagnostic
Skills
- Ability to read and understand diagnostic data
- Ability to read and understand Technical schematics
- Familiarity with general computer operation
- Basic soldering skills
- Ability to troubleshoot complex Analog and Digital circuits to the component level
- Ability to make recommendations to improve current procedures
- Ability to work within limits of prescribed procedures
- Ability to discuss technical problems encountered while troubleshooting or testing with Engineering

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this role is $67,477.00 - $96,396.00.
