Technician 3 Reject Repair- 1st Shift

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble failed transmissions to determine root cause of failure and rework as required.
  • Identify assembly errors and make suggestions to improve the process.
  • Operate air impact guns and assorted hand tools to remove and install bolts, snap rings, screws, rivets, or other fasteners to remove or attach parts or subassemblies.
  • Inspect parts and subassemblies for obvious defects, misbuilt, or omitted parts; scrap defective parts.
  • Clean and perform operator maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Adhere to the policies, procedures, and instructions of the QS 9000 and ISO 14001 systems.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend technical information, read, and write legibly.
  • Willingness to pursue technical schooling in a timely manner to fulfill job requirements.
  • Ability to learn the operation of the test stand.
