Technician 2

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required plus one-year practical training.
• Osha 30 certified.
• Valid driver's license.
• Safe and insurable driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be able to pass drug tests as well as background checks.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CDL NOT REQUIRED BUT ENCOURAGED.

Qualifications

• Understands the capabilities of flush equipment and all tools.
• Can provide input into design of new equipment.
• Maintains client confidence and protects operations.
• Works with a positive attitude and adapts to learning new things.
• Regular attendance and punctuality is a requirement for this position.

Skills

• Can communicate with customers and crew members in a professional manner.
• Can communicate issues and help troubleshoot with management/ supervisor if Senior Tech is not available.
• Helps with implementation and performance of the project.
• Helps with equipment checklists, pre/ post job checklists, as well as pre and post trip logs.
• Helps in record keeping on and offsite, tools and vehicle maintenance depending on the specific project.
• Ensures projects are worked in a timely and efficient manner.
• Can assist in pre-job site surveys.
• Contributes to improving existing programs by providing valuable input.
• Can read and comprehend flush plan for assigned job.
• Understands and can help balance a system when needed.
