About the role
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Pump and Power Technician 2 to perform basic diagnostics and equipment repairs with an emphasis on returning equipment to service quickly to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on Pump & Power equipment in the safest and most effective way possible.
- Read electric schematics and hydraulic flow.
- Work with refrigeration (EPA Certified), electrical engines and controllers, dehumidification equipment from CDI and Munters, compressed air treatment (dryers/filters/aftercooler).
- Handle generators, power distribution, A/C, heaters, shoring, diesel equipment, and air compressors.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
- Basic understanding of refrigeration, electrical engines, controllers, and dehumidification equipment.
- Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, heaters, shoring, diesel equipment, generators, and air compressors.
Skills
The physical demands of this role require:
- Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching.
- Lifting 25 pounds or more.
- Working indoors and outdoors as required by the job.

Pay
Base Pay Range: $26.46 - $38.03 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
