Technician 2

About the role

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Technician 2 – Power, HVAC, or Temperature Control based in Mobile, AL. You’ll help us power progress for our customers by maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing power generation, HVAC and temperature control equipment in the field and in our shop.

Responsibilities

• Based out of our Mobile, AL service center, with the opportunity to work overtime and weekends and potential for travel.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairs.
• Work either on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience working on power generators, HVAC, or temperature control equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and understanding schematics.
• A valid driver’s license; depending on customer requirements, you may also be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or a valid DOT medical card.
• The ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75lbs.

Qualifications

A High School diploma or GED.

3+ years of experience working on power generators, HVAC, or temperature control equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
