Technician 1 (3rd Shift)
Your Responsibilities
- Perform daily changeover maintenance of pre/post treatment equipment.
- Optimize the daily use of production equipment.
- Follow standard procedures and interpret customer work instructions.
- Collaborate with Quality and Center Management to identify and address quality concerns.
- Provide training and assistance to employees on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Learn new skills and Cross-train into various departments.
- Operate and maintain coating equipment according to specifications.
- Use fixturing and defixturing techniques to build and breakdown loads.
- Maintain and update equipment records.
- Assist with quality assurance and other technical matters as required.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned to assure customer satisfaction.
Your Profile
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Prior machine operator experience preferred
- Effective verbal / writing skills
- Ability to read/write/speak English
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products
- Strong communication skills
- Individual must have strong work ethic, be detail-oriented, and creative
- Effective verbal / writing skills
- Must be energetic, goals-driven, result-oriented, and high-energy to be effective in this role
- The employee is frequently required to repetitively use/reach with hands and arms
- The employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, sit, walk, and move about the facility
- The employee may be required to lift, stack, push, pull and/or move items weighing up to 40 pounds
- Ability to concentrate on a given tasks and not be distracted
- Ability to read and see details at close range
- Ability to work safely with a variety of chemicals and gases
