About the role

The Technical Writer Level 3 position is responsible for producing high-quality technical documentation that supports the development and maintenance of software systems. This includes writing user manuals, technical specifications, and other related documents. The role requires a strong understanding of software engineering principles and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for software products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and end-users
• Ensure all documentation adheres to company standards and regulatory requirements
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new technologies into documentation

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing or a related field
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and software engineering principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Security clearance required

Qualifications

• Experience with technical writing tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
