Technical Writer, Advanced Effects Missiles

About the role

The Technical Writer will create and maintain user documentation for Anduril’s diverse business lines, ensuring that documentation is accurate, updated, and easy to understand.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and edit user-focused documentation, working with engineering and operations to deliver task, condition, and standard-centric documentation.
• Evaluate and prioritize tasks to support product documentation efforts and keep them on track.
• Communicate and help manage expectations, ensuring risks are noted with adequate time and shared with leadership.
• Build a culture of technical documentation by contributing to the living documentation process and ensuring those who follow you learn from your experience.

Requirements

• 4+ years of demonstrated excellence in generating technical documentation.
• Experience writing technical user-facing documentation.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering documentation.
• Experience building content in a variety of formats (Word, XML, etc).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• Ability to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA, if not already local.
