Responsibilities

  • Facilitates technical training sessions (classroom, virtual or hands-on) to support skills development, safety, quality and operational proficiency.
  • Partners with experienced trainers and SMEs to maintain consistent delivery of technical instruction across shifts, teams and locations.
  • Supports the development and updating of technical training materials, job aids and work instructions.
  • Aids in the maintenance of training documentation, tracking training completion and entering records into learning systems.
  • Assists with administering assessments, skills checks and practical evaluations to ensure technical competence.
  • Contributes to the implementation of standardized technical training processes and procedures.
  • Supports training audits, reviews and quality checks to promote accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Works with training managers and operational leadership to align training tasks with organizational priorities.
  • Helps identify training gaps or improvement opportunities through feedback, observation and data review.
  • Encourages learners, provides constructive feedback, and helps strengthen instructional consistency across teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business field with a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and technical training methodologies.
  • Ability to evaluate technical performance objectively and provide supportive coaching.
  • Ability to follow structured training processes and support standardization efforts.
  • Good communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to learn new technical concepts.

  • Special consideration will be given to experience in a manufacturing or production-oriented field.

Pay
