Technical Trainer Developer

About the role
As a Technical Trainer Developer, you will design, develop, and deliver technical courses to internal and external customers. Training assignments will include providing instruction and developing training curriculum for both hardware and software products and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Technical Training Course Development (70%)
- Perform audience needs analysis to design and develop effective and appropriate course curriculum that meets user and field service requirements within the given product release schedule.
- Research product information from subject matter experts (engineering, service, manufacturing, etc.) and hands-on learning to develop training materials for operators, administrators, and maintenance courses.
- Technical Training Course Delivery (30%)
- Conduct training classes utilizing approved training curriculum and department policies and procedures.
- Instruct participants using an appropriate mix of media and methods including, but not limited to, classroom presentations, skill practice activities, web-conferencing, and multimedia self-study.
- Conduct follow-up evaluations to determine the effectiveness of course materials and delivery.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in a technical discipline or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- 1 or more years of experience developing and delivering technical training courses.
- Proficiency with application tools such as PowerPoint, Word, Articulate, SolidWorks, Creative Cloud, etc.
- 1 or more years of experience interfacing with internal and external customers and managing projects.
- Strong understanding of software principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel, with some international travel required.
- Unrestricted work authorization for the US.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience or knowledge of the card personalization industry.
- Experience supporting Entrust products and solutions.
- Multimedia training development experience.
- Multi-lingual capability.

Pay
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is $76,126–$111,651 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan.
