Technical Targeter

About the role

SAIC is seeking a Technical Targeter for an exciting program in Northern Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a background in various tools and technologies, with experience in tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence support.

Responsibilities

• Think critically and communicate highly complex technical information accurately and clearly

• Provide outstanding customer support in order to meet high demand requirements
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and interact with others to communicate processes and procedures
• Operate in high-pressure environments and manage large and small projects

• Demonstrate capacity to pivot and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate effective writing and oral communication skills

Requirements

• Currently holds an Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Minimum of 5 years of targeting or other ops/intel experience
• Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience can be substituted for the degree
• Target-package building experience
• Advanced experience using targeting and partner analytic tools
• Experience or strong familiarity with communications infrastructure
• Experience working with raw unprocessed data, as well as large data sets
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Strong analytic, research, and investigative skills combined with ops sense, personal initiative, and technical expertise
• Capacity to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings to technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases and specialized tools
• Formal training or certification as a targeter
• Experience mentoring junior targeters
• 10-15 years of relevant targeting experience

Qualifications

• Mandarin language capability is desired, but not required

Pay

$160,001 - $200,000
