About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Systems Engineer to deploy, configure, integrate, maintain, and support mission-critical Decision Intelligence and Real-Time Crime Center technologies. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring the operational availability of systems supporting police commanders and emergency response decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain RTCC platforms.
- Integrate enterprise systems including: CAD / RMS / GIS, Video Management Systems (VMS) & CCTV, ALPR & IoT Sensors, Drone platforms & Mobile applications, AI and Decision Intelligence platforms.
- Configure APIs and middleware integrations.
- Monitor system performance and availability.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and application issues.
- Support cloud and on-premise deployments.
- Implement cybersecurity controls and system hardening.
- Perform upgrades, backups, disaster recovery testing, and maintenance.
- Provide Tier-2 and Tier-3 technical support.
- Assist with customer demonstrations, testing, and user training.
- Document architectures, configurations, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years supporting enterprise IT systems.
- Strong core technical experience with: Windows Server & Linux, Networking & Virtualization, Databases (SQL) & REST APIs, Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
- Proven experience integrating enterprise applications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles.
Qualifications
- Experience with public safety systems and GIS platforms.
- Knowledge of AI platforms and Decision Intelligence.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python).
- Familiarity with SOC environments, RTCCs, or emergency operations centers.

Pay
Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000
