Technical Support Trainee, Specialist or Senior – Open until 10/16/26

About the role

Under general supervision of the IT Program Manager or designee, provides technical and audio‑visual support to users by installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and maintaining end user equipment, desktop hardware and software. Sets up user profiles and provides basic training to new users. Creates and maintains technical documentation related to end user hardware and software. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

Requirements

• Technical Support Specialist Trainee: High School Diploma or equivalent; one year’s experience in Technical Support; must obtain and maintain A+ Certification within one year of hire; must obtain/maintain a valid New Mexico Class D driver’s license within first 60 days; pass thorough background investigation (including FBI fingerprint check); no felony convictions.
• Technical Support Specialist: Associate’s Degree or equivalent education/experience; one year’s experience in desktop hardware or software support; must obtain/maintain A+ Certification or have 3 years’ desktop/software support experience; must obtain/maintain valid NM Class D driver’s license within 60 days; pass background check; no felony convictions.
• Sr. Technical Support Specialist: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience; two years’ experience in desktop hardware and software support; must obtain/maintain A+ Certification or have 5 years’ desktop/software support experience; must obtain/maintain ITIL4 or Net+ Certification within one year of hire; must obtain/maintain valid NM Class D driver’s license within 60 days; pass background check; no felony convictions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Security+ Certification
• Two years’ experience with Microsoft 365

Pay

• Trainee: $26.56 – $43.25 per hour
• Specialist: $29.29 – $47.69 per hour
• Senior: $33.90 – $55.20 per hour
