Technical Support Specialist

About the role

This role involves managing signal distribution and networking, specializing in AV-over-IP protocols, EDID/HDCP management, and HDBaseT. Expertise in specialized hardware maintenance and calibration of LED Video Walls, setting up and troubleshooting immersive audio systems, and managing control systems like Crestron, Extron, or Q-SYS is required. Additionally, experience in Unified Communications (UC) & Hybrid Tech, UCaaS Platforms, such as Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), and PTZ camera control is needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system checks
• Provide event support during Forge experiences and events
• Train staff on system usage
• Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of equipment
• Coordinate with facility IT around AV issues
• Manage the RMA process for faulty equipment
• Perform on-site repairs when necessary
• Maintain an inventory of equipment
• Cook up with third-party vendors for service and maintenance of AV systems
• Support setup and user engagement with all A/V equipment in the space

Requirements

• Signal Distribution & Networking: AV-over-IP Protocols, EDID/HDCP Management, HDBaseT
• Specialized Hardware: Maintenance and calibration of LED Video Walls
• Immersive Audio: Setup and troubleshooting of spatial audio or beamforming microphone arrays
• Hardware Integration: Managing control systems like Crestron, Extron, or Q-SYS
• Unified Communications (UC) & Hybrid Tech, UCaaS Platforms: Expert-level administration of Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR)
• PTZ Camera Control: Managing remote-operated cameras for high-quality streaming of "Demo Days" or guest speaker events

Bonus

• Certifications in AV-over-IP Protocols or related networking protocols
• Experience with managing large-scale AV installations in corporate environments
• Training in troubleshooting and maintenance of specialized hardware like LED Video Walls
• Experience with managing and supporting UCaaS platforms like Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR)

Pay

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:

• $82,900 - $184,500 USD

Schedule

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the specified locations.
