Technical Support Engineer Installer
Secure Network Solutions requires casual CONUS Technical Engineering resources to provide survey, installation, and configuration assistance for a Wireless Intrusion Detection System at classified customer locations across the continental U.S., including the Washington Metro Area. Work is on a casual basis with a fluid schedule, typically 3-4 weeks of work every 2-3 months. Some periods may offer several months of nearly continuous work. Schedules are arranged in the weeks prior to installations.
Responsibilities
- Antenna and bracket assembly
- Installation above drop-ceilings
- Pulling and terminating ethernet cables
- Transporting equipment between buildings
- Executing tasks in accordance with Amentum safety standards
- Working in environments with mixed business and after-business hours, depending on customer building availability
Requirements
- Prior experience with current installation procedures, including potential conduit bending and installation (preferred)
- Ability to climb step-ladders up to approximately 10 feet
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, and carry at least 15 lbs of equipment
- Minimum of one to two years of relevant experience
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance

Pay
$85 per hour. The compensation range or hourly rate listed is a good-faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
