Technical Support Engineer II

Job title: AV Technician (Live Events and Meeting Rooms) Job type: Contract Contract Length: Through April 2028 Rate: Up to $40 per hour (W2) Role Location: On-site in Charlotte, NC. The Company A large, well-established US software company with a busy Charlotte office. Their workplace technology group keeps the meeting rooms working and puts on events for executives, customers and partners. Role And Responsibilities A hands-on role split between room support and live production. Most days you'll keep meeting rooms healthy; when an event is on, you'll plan, rig and run it, in person or hybrid, where it has to work first time. Work the video conferencing ticket queue in ServiceNow and fix room faults fast Walk the rooms on a regular schedule and catch problems before anyone else does Rig and run leadership meetings, customer sessions and all-hands events, including broadcast studio work Tell business partners plainly what the kit can and cannot do Job Requirements Hands-on AV technician work, 5 years or more Zoom Rooms support and troubleshooting Running audio boards and AV switching for live events Stays calm and fixes problems live, with an audience watching Nice To Have 3 years of experience with Pinchbeck AV Interview Process A short process with the hiring team.
