Technical Support Analyst
About the role
The Technical Support Analyst provides basic support services and assistance to systems customers and/or departmental staff for a variety of IT related issues. This includes identifying, tracking, documenting, researching, and resolving job issues or problem calls, following specific procedures for escalating high priority issues when required. They also support IT professionals by performing routine systems testing and production work, such as validating user manuals, procedures, and other instructional materials.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to systems customers and/or departmental staff for a variety of IT related issues.
- Follow specific procedures for escalating high priority issues, when required.
- Support IT professionals by performing routine systems testing and production work.
- Work on medium size office grade printers and high speed commercial printers as needed.
- Absorb and lift office supplies and equipment of up to twenty pounds.
- Aid in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of information technology devices including personal computers, video display terminals, printers, cabling, and other hardware.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of highly specialized clerical experience involved in an information systems environment including the use or installation of desktop software and/or operating high-speed commercial printers.
- Two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years with Microsoft Windows 10 installation, configuration, support and maintenance experience.
- Two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years lifting and imaging personal computers and devices for both setup and installation of laptop computers and printers.
- Two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years with inventory and salvaging of equipment.
Qualifications
The Consultant shall perform all the duties below:
- Roll out devices throughout all of the company facilities.
- Windows 10 installation, configuration, and support.
- Customer service related to the IT computer refresh and salvage project on phone or in person.
- Lift and transport computers and associated equipment for both installation and salvage.
- Travel to all facilities in order to provide required work.
- Configure, troubleshoot and support end user client systems including desktops, and mobile computing devices.
- Perform device imaging.
- Cable management for removed PC’s and newly installed PC’s.
- Follow IT script to configure and connect devices to the network.
- Ensure devices have anti-virus and complete encryption process.

Additional Information
