Technical Staff: Medical Imaging AI
Job Description
The Human Health & Performance Systems Group is seeking an expert in medical imaging and AI to join our medical operations team. This team focuses on developing advanced medical technologies to address critical defense and civilian medical challenges, particularly in austere and battlefield settings. Your role will involve applying cutting-edge signal/image processing, deep learning, and data analysis techniques to create AI-enabled system prototypes. You will collaborate with and lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and clinicians to design and evaluate innovative medical imaging devices and human performance technologies.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- M.S. or M.Eng. with 5+ years of relevant experience may also be considered
- Strong technical expertise in deep learning model development and deployment on operational systems
- Expertise in biomedical signal and image processing
- Proficiency in algorithm development using Python, MATLAB for biomedical dataset analysis
- Past experience leading technical project teams
- Ability to produce clear, concise, and professional project reports and contribute to technical and scientific publications
Preferences
- Experience in software development and deployment on edge platforms
- Familiarity with medical ultrasound systems
- Experience conducting medical device evaluations in clinical environments
Hiring Range
- Recent Graduate Hiring Range: $145,200 - $170,000
- Experienced Hiring Range: $145,200 - $220,000
